“New casino” can mean almost anything: a brand that opened yesterday, a redesigned site, or a long-standing casino with a freshly issued licence. We order by the one checkable thing, the date the current licence was issued in the register, and explain what that date does and does not tell you.
Lists of “new casinos” usually mix three different things: brands that have just opened, redesigned sites, and old casinos on a different licence. In the table of casinos without a Spanish licence we prefer a checkable fact: the date on which the licence the casino holds today was issued.

Right at the top is Rakebit, with an Anjouan licence issued on 18 February 2026 and valid to 17 February 2027. It is the rare case of a casino that is at once the newest by licence and the leader of the table, with all five boxes.
Behind it come Wild Fortune, with an Anjouan licence from 30 September 2025 that expires a year later, on 29 September 2026, and BetFury, with a Curaçao licence from 31 July 2025.
What the date does and does not tell you
The licence date tells you since when the casino has held that licence. It does not tell you when it opened.
- Cloudbet shows a licence from 23 May 2025, and it is one of the oldest brands in the crypto sector.
- Bitsler, founded in 2015 by its own account, holds a licence from 22 July 2024.
- Thunderpick, licensed on 4 June 2025, has been in esports for years.
The explanation: the Curaçao authority opened a new certificate register, and many casinos renewed their licence in 2024 and 2025. The date gets younger, the casino is the same.
Anjouan: licences that run for a year
Anjouan licences show an expiry date in the register, and in this table all of them run for a year. That has a practical consequence for “new” casinos on this licence: a year after taking it out, they have to renew. If they do not, they disappear from the register.
